FPL 558 Mortise Lock with 2" (50mm) backset with Polished Brass faceplate finish. FPL 558 Sliding Door Mechanism is unique in that it will allow you to use an operable lever trim style on a sliding door mortise mechanism. That means that you can use the same exact plate (or rosette) and lever combination on your swing AND sliding doors throughout the home.
Lever above cylinder. This lock uses an European profile cylinder.

To Open:
Press down on lever to disengage mechanism from strike, then use lever as a pull to slide your door open.
To Close:
With the sliding door closed, locking the Profile Cylinder secures the door by keeping the lever from operating.
